Dolly Parton has died aged 80 after what her representatives described as a brief battle with cancer at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville. The specific cancer was not disclosed. Tributes highlighted her seven-decade music and film career, including songs such as “Jolene” and “I Will Always Love You,” as well as her philanthropy through the Imagination Library and support for medical research. Donations to the Imagination Library were requested instead of floral tributes.
