Horror as body found in 'fly-covered suitcase' during teddy bear hunt in UK woods
Police launched a murder investigation after a man’s body was found in a fly-covered suitcase in woodland in Gillingham, Kent, near a children’s teddy bear hunt. Two men, aged 27 and 32, were arrested after attending Medway Police Station, and a third man was arrested and later bailed on suspicion of assisting an offender. Investigators believe the victim and suspects knew each other. Formal identification is pending and the victim’s family is being supported as police continue to investigate the circumstances of the killing.
