Ramadame Raphaël is a journalist and writer based in New York, United States. An experienced journalist, I worked for Radio-Télé Métropole in Haiti, where I presented television news, conducted interviews, and produced on-the-ground radio reports, all written and delivered in French. My expertise includes broadcast presentation, news reporting, and journalistic interviewing. I first studied journalism and general communication, earning a diploma in 2014, before pursuing a degree in Law from 2014 to 2018 in Haiti. This dual academic background allows me to analyze legal, social, and media-related issues with depth, rigor, and precision. Based in New York since December 2022, I continue to produce audio reports in French while improving my English at the Manhattan Educational Opportunity Center (MEOC), part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system. Passionate about literature and the arts, I write poetry, surreal stories, and fiction in French, and I have presented my work at cultural and academic events in New York. In May 2025, my poem “Madness” was published in NYU Gallatin’s The Literacy Review, Volume 23, in the Transformation category, alongside writers from around the world. The publication is available in both print editions (distributed to libraries and academic institutions) and an electronic version on NYU’s official website.
