Mike Browne won all four of his races at the 2026 Armoy road races, taking his overall victories at the event to 12 and joining Michael Dunlop, Ryan Farquhar and Davey Todd as the only riders with four or more wins in an individual Armoy meeting. Richard Cooper won the second Supertwins race on his debut at the three-mile County Antrim circuit, setting a new lap record of 101.192mph. Browne also won the shortened, wet Supersport race, the Open race and the feature Race of Legends, while Cooper, Paul Jordan and other leading riders completed the principal podiums. Several races were affected by a red-flag incident, an oil spill and changing conditions.

Derry City manager Tiernan Lynch said crowd trouble during the Europa Conference League defeat to CSKA Sofia significantly disrupted his team's momentum. Play was halted for nearly 15 minutes after visiting supporters attempted to enter the home section, forcing some fans onto the pitch. Lynch believed the interruption allowed CSKA to regroup before Ioannis Pittas restored their lead. Despite a strong second‑half performance, Derry City conceded again late in extra time. Lynch praised his players’ character while expressing concern for supporter safety during the incident.
