People jump from building into sea at Welsh resort as police called
Police were called to Tenby harbour after people were filmed jumping from a historic harbour building into the sea. The building’s owner, the Harriet Davis Seaside Holiday Trust, says up to 24 young people gather on its roof during each high tide, causing deliberate damage and frightening vulnerable families staying inside. Cliff jumper Ross Williams supports purpose-built outdoor diving platforms, arguing they would provide a safer and lawful way to enjoy the activity, while the owner has urged people to stop using the building.

New DNA samples taken from man jailed for murder of Lin and Megan Russell
New DNA testing has been authorised for Michael Stone, who is serving a life sentence for the 1996 murders of Lin and Megan Russell, offering a potential opportunity to challenge his conviction. The case has long been controversial due to the absence of forensic evidence, reliance on disputed prison confessions and the persistence of doubts raised by legal reviewers. The Criminal Cases Review Commission is assessing whether new evidence could justify sending the case back to the Court of Appeal.
