Strictly Come Dancing presenter admits 'it's upsetting' after discovering painful loss
Josh Widdicombe has revealed that he is still struggling with the death of Beryl, the family cat who had been with them for 11 years. Speaking on the Parenting Hell podcast, he described the loss as genuinely upsetting, said he cried at Exeter St Davids station and admitted feeling resentful toward the family's other cats. Beryl was cremated separately and her ashes are kept in the family home in Devon. Widdicombe is due to make his presenting debut on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing in September alongside Emma Willis and Johannes Radebe.

The family is taking turns providing support, and Price is considering buying a small property on the Isle of Wight so she can help while maintaining her home in Sussex. The Stig thought Freddie Flintoff died in car crash as vision went red with his blood
Paul Rees, revealed as The Stig, recounted believing Freddie Flintoff had died during their 2022 Top Gear crash when blood from Flintoff obscured his vision. The accident left both men with severe injuries, including reconstructive surgery for Flintoff and a broken back for Rees, who is now suing the BBC. Flintoff has since spoken publicly about PTSD and his long recovery. Top Gear remains indefinitely shelved, and BBC Studios disputes Rees’s legal claim.
