Watford MP recalls dramatic interruption at fire station
Watford MP Matt Turmaine’s visit to Watford Fire Station was interrupted when firefighters were called to an emergency. Station Commander Paul Gallagher continued the tour, showing Turmaine the station’s equipment, training facilities, fire engine and aerial ladder platform. The station’s current platform is due to be replaced by a turntable ladder capable of reaching 42 metres. Turmaine thanked the crew for their dangerous work and expressed interest in returning for a fuller visit.

New signs at North Western Avenue in Watford to stop cars
