Lego Brick Festival coming to Brentwood Centre this summer
The Brentwood Brick Festival will be held at Brentwood Centre on August 16, featuring speed-building competitions, master-builder challenges, scavenger hunts, gaming zones, LEGO building areas and trader stalls selling rare and retired sets, loose bricks and accessories. Visitors can meet master builders, while early-bird and family tickets offer additional value, including a free LEGO gift with early entry.

Brentwood school named best in Essex for making a difference
Hogarth Primary School in Brentwood was recognised at the Essex Teaching Awards as the top primary school in the county for making a difference after significant improvement from a past Ofsted rating of ‘requires improvement’. Headteacher Rob Watson credited strong teaching, a solid curriculum and community focus for the school’s progression to ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ ratings, alongside rising demand for places.
