Mark “Bruni” Brown, president of the Mad Dogs Motorcycle Club, says he and fellow bikers were ambushed by 12 masked attackers armed with swords and bats on the M74 near Lesmahagow, Lanarkshire. Brown was hospitalised but said the group remained standing. Police Scotland is treating the incident as a targeted attack and is seeking witnesses and information about a red Mazda found in Ayrshire. The assault follows an earlier attack outside a pub and amid a longstanding feud between the Mad Dogs and Blue Angels motorcycle clubs, although sources question whether the Blue Angels were responsible.
