Boy, 7, drowned in sea tragedy after incident with teenage cousin and aunt
Seven-year-old Musa Ahmed died six days after getting into difficulty in the sea off West Mersea, Essex, while on a family holiday. His 15-year-old cousin Sameeha Rahman and her mother, 41-year-old Shelina Rahman, also died. An inquest heard that drowning was the provisional cause of death for all three, with Musa also suffering a hypoxic-ischaemic brain injury. The inquest was adjourned until January 19, 2027.
