Southampton Marina Welcomes the Largest Superyacht in Its History
Ocean Village in Southampton has welcomed Lunasea, a 73-metre superyacht that is the largest vessel ever to visit the marina. Owned by American businessman and philanthropist Yahn Bernier, the yacht is expected to remain for about a month before undergoing a winter refit. The vessel, built by Feadship and designed by RWD, carries a crew and offers facilities including an infinity pool, cinema, beach club and gym. Its arrival also has a local connection through captain Matthew Ledingham, who began his maritime career on the Hythe Ferry.
