Girl, 10, airlifted to hospital after horror crash is fighting for life
A 10-year-old girl was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with life-threatening injuries after a Volkswagen Golf crashed on the A721 near Carnwath, South Lanarkshire. Four dead and multiple injured in 'wrong way' fatal head-on motorway crash
Four people were killed and several others seriously injured in a head-on collision on the northbound M9 in County Kildare at about 3 a.m. on August 16, 2026. Gardaí said one vehicle was travelling southbound on the northbound carriageway before colliding with a second car. Man charged after death of nine-year-old West Yorkshire girl
