Former nurse extradited to UK denies having sex with mental health patient at London hospital
Former nurse Jason Forde, 56, pleaded not guilty at Wood Green Crown Court to eight charges alleging unlawful sexual activity with a woman receiving treatment for a mental disorder at a mental health unit on the Homerton Hospital site in Hackney during the 2000s. Forde was extradited from Barbados after many years and recently returned to the UK. A four-day trial was scheduled to begin on April 26, 2027, and Forde was remanded in custody.
