Amy Dowden continues to experience health problems three years after her grade three breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, including night sweats, hot flushes, difficulty moving her fingers and repeated foot fractures. She said chemotherapy and Zoladex injections triggered menopause-related symptoms, and she is receiving bone infusions after breaking her foot twice. Dowden, who underwent chemotherapy and two mastectomies, was declared to have no evidence of disease in 2024 and returned to Strictly Come Dancing after treatment. She is preparing to compete in the show’s new series.
