Birmingham City have signed 24-year-old left-back Kristoffer Lund from Palermo for an undisclosed fee on a four-year contract. Manager Chris Davies praised Lund's pace, athleticism, defensive ability and attacking potential as qualities suited to the Championship. Lund previously played for FC Midtjylland, Esbjerg and BK Häcken, spent three years with Palermo, and made 33 appearances for FC Köln on loan last season. He has seven senior caps for the United States after representing Denmark at youth level.
