Woman in her 20s dies in A4 crash as three others injured
A woman in her 20s died after a three-car crash on the A4 Bath Road near Froxfield on August 19. The driver of a Lexus CT200 was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of a Volkswagen Golf suffered serious injuries and two occupants of a Honda Civic sustained minor injuries. Thames Valley Police appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage, and the A4 remained closed for investigation work.

3 Children Among Victims Rushed to Hospital After A36 Crash
Five people, including three children, were taken to hospital after a three-vehicle collision on the A36 at Codford near Warminster. A 78-year-old woman suffered serious injuries, while a 59-year-old woman, two girls aged five and 10, and an eight-year-old boy were reportedly treated for minor injuries. Wiltshire Police is investigating and has appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage.

In Photos: Derelict Wiltshire Homes Deliberately Set on Fire
A row of derelict homes in Marlborough, Wiltshire, was deliberately set alight in a controlled exercise before demolition. Fire crews from Swindon, Marlborough, Trowbridge and Tisbury practised casualty searches, extinguishing fires, breathing-apparatus procedures, communication and decision-making under pressure. Permission was obtained from the property owner, and residents were warned not to panic after seeing smoke and flames.

Search launched for missing Winchester man believed to be in Wiltshire
A search has been launched for Paul, a 66-year-old man from Winchester who was last seen at about 3:45 p.m. on July 30 and is believed to have travelled to Wiltshire. Wiltshire Police and Hampshire Police are seeking the public’s help, particularly in the Trowbridge and Warminster areas, as his family grows increasingly concerned. Police update after woman in her 40s dies on Wiltshire railway
A woman in her 40s died after a mental health-related incident on the railway near Warminster station in Wiltshire. British Transport Police and paramedics attended shortly after 9:30 p.m., but she was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner. Wiltshire Police made a mandatory referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct because of prior contact with the woman.

Biker rushed to hospital after crash with car at Ludgershall
A 59-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after a collision with a car on the A342 at Ludgershall, prompting a road closure and emergency response.
