Je suis Sepehr Nasihatgar, journaliste et conteur visuel, titulaire d'un A.A. in Photojournalism et d'un B.A. in Photography. Mon travail se situe à l'intersection des arts et de la société, et est axé sur la musique, les arts visuels et le reportage documentaire. Je ne suis pas principalement un reporter d'actualités ; je me spécialise dans les articles de fond, les portraits et les récits analytiques à plus longue durée de vie, des travaux qui apportent du contexte, de l'histoire et des détails humains. Je travaille sur plusieurs formats, produisant des photo-essais, des interviews, des podcasts et des vidéos, fondés sur le travail de terrain et une observation attentive.

Video essay (Persian) In this video, I analyze why many newly invented instruments in Iranian music over the past 20 years have failed to gain lasting adoption. Beyond acoustics and instrument design, I argue that the core issue is the absence of a coherent theoretical framework and dedicated repertoire. The piece includes contextual references to Mohammad Reza Shajarian and other influential musicians and practices.
