Deborah Oakley of Ruardean pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary suffering to a dog and three fish and failing to meet the welfare needs of animals kept in filthy conditions. After officials removed several animals from her home, Cheltenham Magistrates' Court sentenced her to a 12-week custodial term suspended for 24 months, banned her from keeping animals for five years, granted a deprivation order for fish in foster care, and ordered her to pay £654 in costs and surcharge.
