The Silence of the Lambs will be staged at Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre from 4–8 May 2027 as part of its UK and Ireland tour. John Partridge will play Hannibal Lecter, with Mollie Gallagher as Clarice Starling and Sam Jackson as Buffalo Bill. Partridge discusses the challenge of portraying a character deeply associated with Anthony Hopkins, his own inspirations for the role, and the growing appetite for psychological thrillers in theatre.

Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, recognized by Guinness World Records as the longest-running theatrical production, will visit Sheffield from November 3 to 7 as part of its 75th Anniversary UK tour. The production recently marked its 30,000th West End performance, with Nicholas Bailey and Susan Penhaligon among the announced cast members.
