Loungers restaurant chain to open in Bexhill-on-Sea
Loungers has been selected as the principal restaurant tenant for the refurbished Colonnade on Bexhill-on-Sea’s seafront under a conditional lease agreement with Rother District Council. The company plans to add glazing and expand the seating area for year-round dining, subject to planning approval. Occupation is expected in autumn, with construction and fit-out during the winter, and the venue is targeted to open for the spring and summer season in 2027. The Colonnade already hosts food kiosks, a temporary restaurant and weekend live entertainment as part of the wider regeneration project.
