Four natural weed‑killing methods were tested on patio and driveway weeds. Salt combined with boiling water proved highly effective, killing weeds within nine hours and preventing regrowth over two weeks. White vinegar mixed with dish soap also produced strong results, visibly damaging weeds within hours and making removal easier. Lemon juice showed no impact, likely due to rain washing it away. Boiling water alone wilted a mature dandelion but failed to kill it fully, suggesting it works best on small, newly emerged weeds. The findings highlight salt and vinegar as the most reliable natural options.
