Pawel Kulpa, 34, has been charged with murder, eight counts of attempted murder and arson with intent to endanger life after a house fire on Berkeley Avenue in Hounslow, west London, on August 19. A woman died in hospital, another woman remains in life-threatening condition, and six men and one woman were discharged with minor injuries. Kulpa is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on August 25. The Crown Prosecution Service said there is sufficient evidence to pursue the case and warned against commentary that could prejudice the active proceedings.
