Muscular and Strong — But Why Do Some Bodybuilders Die Young?
Competitive bodybuilders, particularly professionals, face substantially elevated risks of sudden cardiac death. Studies link these risks to anabolic steroid use, rapid weight loss and extreme strength training, with steroid users showing much higher rates of cardiomyopathy, heart attacks and heart failure. Autopsies commonly reveal enlarged hearts, thickened ventricular walls and advanced coronary disease. Experts stress that natural training can enlarge the heart beneficially, but steroid use may impair its contraction and cause irreversible damage; however, genetic heart conditions and training effects can also contribute. Poor reporting of steroid-related deaths makes the overall scale difficult to determine.

The biggest mistake in the film 'The Odyssey' is director Christopher Nolan's misogyny, says Greek mythology expert
Greek mythology specialist Cláudio Moreno argues that Christopher Nolan's film adaptation of The Odyssey sacrifices the poem's complex female characters in favor of action, spectacle and visual effects. He particularly criticizes the treatment of Penelope, Circe, Calypso and Athena, as well as the removal of Nausicaa, saying these changes erase the women’s power and narrative importance. Moreno also contends that the film neglects the epic’s deeper themes of loyalty, loss, transformation and the meaning of returning home, including Odysseus’s refusal of immortality and his lessons from the underworld.
