An 18-year-old woman died after a medical emergency at the Tonnau festival on the Carreglwyd Estate in Anglesey. Emergency services responded around 1:45 a.m. on July 11, but she later died in hospital. North Wales Police are treating the death as unexpected and have begun an investigation, urging the public not to speculate and to share any relevant information quoting reference O110259.

A motor vessel off the north Wales coast began taking on water, prompting HM Coastguard to request the launch of Llandudno RNLI’s all-weather lifeboat. An offshore wind farm support vessel initially assisted until RNLI crews arrived. A mechanic from the lifeboat conducted temporary repairs that stopped the water ingress, allowing the vessel to be escorted safely toward Deganwy before continuing under its own power. RNLI officials said the response prioritised safety and preventing hazards to other water users.
