Lee Nelhams was sentenced to 35 months in prison after pleading guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving when he lost control of a Vauxhall Corsa while overtaking on Tudor Drive in Kingston upon Thames in 2022. The car struck a bus stop and hit a schoolboy, who spent nearly three months in hospital, including two weeks in a coma, and suffered severe brain, skull, leg and eye injuries with lasting physical and psychological effects.
