Pershore is hosting a month-long festival celebrating the town's plum heritage, including three varieties named after Pershore. Events include races, cycling and motorbike gatherings, market stalls, entertainment, a shop-window competition, an open-air cinema and a family fun day. Organiser Angela Taylor said the festival has been running for 27 years and became a larger recovery and community initiative after funding received following the 2007 floods.

A fundraising weekend at Worcestershire County Cricket Club and Astwood Bank Cricket Club is honouring late cricketer Josh Baker, who died suddenly aged 20 in 2024. The Blue for Bakes event includes matches, family activities and a permanent mural, with proceeds supporting the JB33 Foundation, which helps people overcome financial barriers to participating in cricket. Baker’s parents and former colleagues say the growing event reflects his lasting influence and love of the sport.
