Vladimir Putin's terrifying four threats to the UK in a 'retaliation' attack
The article outlines four possible Russian retaliation options against the UK if Moscow seeks to force a change in Britain's support for Ukraine: escalating sabotage, disinformation, drone incursions and cyberattacks; assassinating British citizens; striking British military-support facilities in Ukraine; and attacking targets in Britain with missiles or armed drones. The Russian Embassy accuses Britain of becoming an accomplice in attacks on Russia, while the UK Ministry of Defence rejects the threat and reaffirms support for Ukraine. A direct attack on Britain is presented as less likely because it could trigger NATO's collective-defence obligations, whereas attacks on facilities in Ukraine are described as the most plausible escalation.
