Ipswich Town have signed Serbia midfielder Sasa Lukic from Fulham for an undisclosed fee on a contract running until 2030. The 29-year-old made 106 appearances for Fulham, including 26 Premier League appearances last season, and becomes the second Fulham player to join Ipswich this summer after Issa Diop. Manager Gary O'Neil highlighted Lukic's Premier League experience and consistent performances.

Brandon Clarke, the 29-year-old Memphis Grizzlies forward, died accidentally in May 2026 from the combined effects of heroin and cocaine, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner. Multiple prescription medications were also identified as a significant contributing factor. Clarke was found unresponsive at a home in California and had been limited to two games during the 2025–26 season because of injuries. The former first-round pick played 309 NBA games and averaged 10.2 points per game; he had also been arrested in Arkansas a month before his death on charges including possession of a controlled substance.

Formula 1 teams must observe a mandatory 14-day summer shutdown imposed by the FIA, during which work on car performance, including design, development, production and simulator use, is prohibited. Limited repairs to seriously damaged cars may proceed with FIA approval, while marketing, finance and legal departments can continue operating. The 2026 summer break runs from 27 July to the Dutch Grand Prix weekend beginning 21 August, and teams also observe a nine-day shutdown at the end of the season.
