EastEnders star leads new Birmingham-based period drama in first look
A new six-part period drama titled The Cadburys is set to air in 2027, focusing on the Cadbury family and their rise in the confectionery industry. First-look images feature Ben Hardy as Francis Fry, a rival to the Cadbury business. The series stars Harry Gilby, Toby Regbo, Jessica Barden and others, and follows the Cadbury siblings as they work to transform their struggling cocoa enterprise in 1860s Birmingham. Inspired by Deborah Cadbury’s book Chocolate Wars, the show is produced by Fable Pictures for UKTV, BritBox and Sony Pictures Television.
