'Brilliant' Yorkshire-based Channel 4 series announces return
Channel 4 has commissioned a new series of Educating Yorkshire, returning to Thornhill Community Academy with headteacher Matthew Burton. The programme will continue documenting the realities of modern school life, including the challenges faced by teenagers and the work of teachers. The 2025 revival attracted 8.7 million viewers across linear and streaming platforms, earned a 28% share among 16-to-34-year-olds and received a BAFTA nomination. School and Channel 4 representatives said the new series will highlight the positive, often life-changing work taking place in schools.
