Swindon Mercedes driver in head on crash after overtake
A Swindon man, Darryl Young, was found guilty of dangerous driving after attempting to overtake on the A420 near Kingston Bagpuize, causing a head‑on collision with a van that flipped and rolled. Jurors were shown dashcam footage and heard witness testimony describing the manoeuvre as dangerous. Young, who said he could not recall the crash, will be sentenced on July 17 at Oxford Crown Court.
