Uber driver rapes woman at knifepoint as police believe there are more victims
A Leicester Uber driver, Adam Daley, raped a woman at knifepoint after diverting from her route and abandoning her following the assault. Police quickly tracked and arrested him using CCTV and ANPR systems, later discovering indecent images on his phone. Daley was convicted of rape, sexual assault, threats to kill and knife possession, receiving a 16‑year sentence along with an indefinite sexual harm prevention order and restraining order.
