Llanon man had child sex abuse images and bestiality
Dyfed Jones, 35, of Llanon, pleaded guilty at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court to nine offences involving hundreds of indecent images of children, including 225 Category A images, a prohibited image, and an extreme pornographic image depicting sexual activity with a dog. The case was sent to Swansea Crown Court for sentencing, a pre-sentence report was ordered, and Jones was remanded in custody pending his next hearing.

Nineteen-year-old Ceredigion cyclist Finlay Tarling died after a serious crash during the eighth stage of the Volta a Portugal. Tarling, who rode for the NSN Development Team and was the younger brother of Ineos Grenadiers cyclist Josh Tarling, was remembered by his team, British Cycling, the UCI and race organizers as a talented and well-liked rider. Rhydlewis biker caught over drink limit on A487 at Aberaeron
Steven Kerr, 57, of Rhydlewis, was stopped while riding a BMW motorbike on the A487 north of Aberaeron and recorded 73 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, more than twice the legal limit of 35. He pleaded guilty at Aberystwyth Magistrates' Court and was fined £120, ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £48 victim surcharge, and disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Aberystwyth Magistrates' Court dealt with three cases involving residents of Lampeter, Llandysul and Felinfach. Flavio Ramos was fined £880 and ordered to pay costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance and a valid MOT, with six penalty points added to his licence. Reece Morris was fined £660 plus costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance and also received six penalty points. Peter Gilmore pleaded guilty to possessing 4.9 grams of herbal cannabis and was fined £80, ordered to pay costs and a surcharge, and had the cannabis forfeited and destroyed.
