Inconsistencies at a press conference, bloodstain analysis and testimony confirming Harvey’s car had not been pursued shifted Andrews from witness to suspect. Evidence of prior violence and forensic links supported the prosecution’s case that she fatally stabbed Harvey with a concealed penknife. Andrews was convicted, later admitting to the killing, and now lives under a new identity following her release after 14 years.
