Jenny Shin won the Women's Scottish Open at Dundonald by two shots over fellow South Korean A-Lim Kim, finishing nine under par despite a three-over 75 in the final round. The victory was Shin's first in more than a decade and only her second LPGA Tour title in 368 attempts. Pajaree Anannarukarn finished third, while Nelly Korda shared 16th and Charley Hull ended 10 over par. The players now turn to the Women's Open at Royal Lytham and St Annes, the year's final major.

Former welterweight world champion Errol Spence Jr has indicated he will retire after losing his comeback fight to Australia's Tim Tszyu in Sydney. Tszyu won by unanimous decision, 118-110 and 117-111 twice, after controlling the fight and repeatedly targeting Spence's chin. Spence, who retires with a 28-2 record and said his health, finances and family were secure, had not fought since losing to Terence Crawford three years earlier. Tszyu said defeating the former champion was more meaningful to him than winning a world title and expressed a desire to challenge for a belt next.

AC Milan signed Portugal striker Goncalo Ramos from Paris St‑Germain for a club‑record fee of about £60m, making him the first major addition under new head coach Ruben Amorim. Ramos agreed a contract through 2031 after scoring 45 goals in three seasons with PSG. The move surpasses Milan’s previous record fee paid for Rafael Leao. PSG continue reshaping their squad under chairman Nasser Al‑Khelaifi, sporting adviser Luis Campos and manager Luis Enrique, with further departures expected as they plan potential high‑profile signings.
