Review: Lexus LM
The Lexus LM Takumi is presented as a highly luxurious people carrier whose unassuming exterior conceals a business-class rear cabin with reclining seats, massage functions, a 48-inch screen, a fridge and a 23-speaker Mark Levinson audio system. Its 247bhp 2.5-litre hybrid drivetrain, all-wheel drive and easy-going handling make the large vehicle straightforward to drive, while strong UK demand reflects its appeal to executives and celebrities. Minor drawbacks include limited phone connectivity through the rear multimedia system and the reviewer’s desire for autonomous driving, but the LM is ultimately judged a compelling alternative to long-wheelbase luxury saloons.
