Pictures give rare glimpse of Wiltshire 'ghost' village
More than 40 vintage buses transported hundreds of visitors from Warminster to Imber during the annual Imberbus event. The event offers rare public access to the abandoned Wiltshire village and surrounding Salisbury Plain military training area, while raising funds for the medieval Church of St Giles. Imber’s civilian population was evacuated in 1943 for military training and was never permitted to return, leaving the village under Ministry of Defence control.

Wiltshire Game & Country Fair Stuns with Daring Stunts
The Wiltshire Game and Country Fair at Bowood House drew crowds with performances by the Stannage Stunt Team, including motorcycle jumps, fire stunts and a 60-foot tower dive. Organized by Living Heritage Shows, the two-day event also featured country sports, equestrian displays, falconry, dog demonstrations, chainsaw carving, trade stands, food demonstrations and an angling village.

Longleat hosts Lombard Rally Festival: pictures from event
Historic rally cars were showcased at Longleat during the Lombard Rally Festival, part of the Motor Show Weekender. Crews from across the South West participated in live demonstrations and woodland stages held over June 27 and 28. Event organiser Tim Nash highlighted the rally’s heritage and emphasised the focus on providing spectator access while maintaining safety. Although new to Longleat, the venue previously featured in early stages of past Lombard championships.
