Venkateshwarlu Boya is a journalist. As a journalist with over 18 years of experience in electronic broadcast and digital media, I am deeply committed to serving the common person. My career, spanning roles as a Journalist, Copy Editor, News Producer, and Freelancer, has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the media landscape. Notably, my time at I News Telugu Channel and V6 News Telugu allowed me to deliver impactful special news stories focused on the issues facing everyday people. My skills in research, writing, and production have been honed through these diverse experiences. A significant highlight was my selection as one of 40 Telugu TV Journalists for the US Consulate General Hyderabad and Osmania University Hyderabad's Fact Check project. This year-long training significantly strengthened my investigative journalism abilities and deepened my understanding of fact-checking and media ethics. I possess a strong grasp of the Telugu media landscape and maintain a robust network of industry contacts. I am dedicated to staying abreast of current affairs and emerging trends, particularly artificial intelligence (AI) and fact-checking to combat disinformation on digital and social media.
