Brits urged to check crucial appliance in heatwave

Appliance specialist Matthew Glynn warns that fridges must work harder during a heatwave and recommends lowering the temperature setting to around 2°C and keeping the appliance between 0°C and 5°C. Additional advice includes minimising door openings, avoiding overcrowding, cooling food before storing it and organising shelves to improve airflow.
