Phoebe Bridgers - Lost Weekend (Album Review)
Phoebe Bridgers’ first album since 2020’s Punisher is ambitious and sonically expansive, featuring strings, vocoders and a broad cast of collaborators. The review highlights “Lost Boys,” “Bobby” and “Liberty Tree,” but argues that the 16-track streaming edition—and hidden 17th track on physical formats—makes the record feel overlong and underdeveloped. Its reflections on love, loss and fame do not consistently deliver emotional impact, leaving the album ambitious but somewhat lost and emotionally unconvincing.
