North Enfield Cricket Club’s first XI lost to Luton Town & Indians by 41 runs in Division 4B of the Hertfordshire Premier Cricket League but secured 18 points after dismissing Luton Town for 268 and scoring 227 in reply. Irfan Ali made 72 from 73 balls and Stuart Halley scored a half-century, while Kieran Jones and Derrick Sanders led the bowling effort. North Enfield’s chase collapsed late, with the final five wickets falling for 24 runs. The club’s second XI also earned 14 points in defeat, while its Friendly XI won after Callum Oswick scored 61 from 25 deliveries.

North Enfield’s 1st XI fell short in their attempt to defend a low total of 131 against Northampton Exiles despite reducing the visitors to 107–7, with the Exiles captain’s unbeaten 45 guiding a three‑wicket win. Strong bowling spells from Freddie Pearson, Oliver Munt and Matthew Hodgins kept the match competitive, but a costly batting collapse after Tom Coughlan’s 53 left North Enfield with too little to defend. The team collected nine points and will aim to rebound against Hoddesdon, while the 2nd XI seeks improvement after a heavy defeat to St Margaretsbury.
