Beautiful model who oozed confidence on catwalk is now in hospice weeks later
Model and social media influencer Sydney Towle, 26, has been moved into hospice care while battling cholangiocarcinoma, an aggressive and rare bile duct cancer diagnosed when she was 23. Her brother Austin announced the news on TikTok, saying she is receiving excellent care and is surrounded by family and friends. Towle, who has documented chemotherapy, clinical trials and experimental treatments online, made her first runway appearance at Miami Swim Week in May after previously being advised to consider end-of-life care. She walked in adaptive fashion designed for people with post-cancer bodies and surgery scars, inspiring a large online community that has since shared messages of support.
