Ahmed Kanjo

My name is Ahmad Kanjo. I am 21 years old and Syrian. I started my career in media after a well-known interview I gave on YouTube, and I can say that I practically grew up in a media-oriented environment.

I started working at 10lar Medya as a presenter for the program “Ana İnsan” (“I Am Human”), where we interviewed successful young Syrians and talked about their journeys and the experiences that led them to where they are today.

While presenting the program, I began developing myself in different areas of media. I learned video editing, graphic design, journalistic writing, and translation. At the same time, I significantly improved my Turkish, especially the language and terminology used in the media industry.

Over time, my responsibilities at 10lar Medya expanded. I began working on content production, field shooting, managing the filming team, video editing, copy editing, graphic design, publishing, and following the entire production process from fieldwork to the final content being published on digital platforms.

During this period, I took part in covering various events and developments in Turkey, including demonstrations and events related to Palestine, public meetings, lectures, and other important events.

Today, I am able to manage the entire content production process independently, from researching and developing a story to field production and filming, and finally to editing, design, copywriting, and digital publishing.
