“Tuktaa” is an award-winning director working in regional TV over fifteen years. She has filmed in various environment from the Alaskan wilderness and the Australian outback to Myanmar jungles and cities around the world. Her work includes every genre of non-scripted content from wildlife, history, talent to travel shows. Her show, Extreme China, won her the 2019 Best Direction Award from the Asian Academy Creative Awards. The program also picked up the Best Documentary Series and Best Infotainment Program Awards. Her other acclaimed shows include Channel News Asia’s Against the Elements, an award-winning documentary highlighting the effort of people who came together to bring twelve boys and their football coach out of a flooded cave in northern Thailand. Tuktaa has worked with various broadcasters such as National Geographic, National Geographic Wild US, Discovery Channel, Voice of America, Insider, Vice World News, History Channel, BBC, Crime and Investigation Network, Fox Life, Channel News Asia, Bloomberg and others. She has run international production teams to produce many successful TV programs.
