Patrick Dempsey plays Piero Taruffi in the biopic 'Ferrari' in Italy
Patrick Dempsey was spotted portraying racing legend Piero Taruffi on the set of the biopic 'Ferrari' in Modena, Italy. The film, also starring Adam Driver as Enzo Ferrari, Penelope Cruz, and Shailene Woodley, follows the story of Enzo Ferrari and his company's struggles in 1957. Dempsey, a racing enthusiast and founder of Dempsey Racing, has transformed his appearance for the role, including bleaching his hair. The movie is set for a late 2023 release. Dempsey also founded the Dempsey Center in Maine, which offers free comprehensive cancer care, inspired by his late mother's battle with ovarian cancer.
Autism, at Tortellante of Modena therapy is done with rolling pin, eggs and flour
In Modena, the 'Il Tortellante' project, conceived by Silvia Panini, mother of an autistic son, with support from chef Massimo Bottura and volunteers, is a fresh pasta workshop where autistic teenagers learn to make tortellini, enhancing their social and therapeutic skills. The initiative promotes full inclusion, teaching autistic youth to work in a community and volunteers to interact with them. The project, supported by Aut Aut Modena, also plans to open a shop selling the pasta made by the participants and to create a 'Laboratory of Autonomies' to further improve their independence.
